Getting around Ft Lauderdale are Broward County Transit buses and there is the Tri-Rail train, that runs north and south parallel to I-95, connecting Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. You can also tour the city by Water Taxi via the Intracostal waterway. Automotive Taxis are generally expensive, but available at almost any time and place. Car rentals are the most convenient form of transportation for visitors.
