    There are many museums in New York such as the Museum of the City of New York on Fifth Avenue, which houses an enormous amount of New York memorabilia and information. New York also has a large number of top art galleries, exhibiting many works of art from local and international artists.

    Port Location – New York City has two Passenger Ship Terminals so make sure you know which one your cruise arrives at or departs from. Manhattan Cruise Terminal is the major terminal and is located at 12th Avenue and 55th Street in the heart of New York City on the Hudson river. Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is on Browne St and is opposite Govenors Island, so they are some distance apart.

    Transport Links – Three major airports serve New York city - the famous John F. Kennedy International Airport, La Guardia Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.

    New York has an excellent public transport system including buses, subway trains and yellow cabs. Getting around central New York is very straightforward and many of the city's major sights and attractions are within easy walking distance of each other.
